Actress, Filmmaker & Business Owner

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Lorna is an actor and storyteller with a passion for film and television. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, she embraces the mix of her Puerto Rican roots and American identity, a blend that adds depth and authenticity to her work.

Her journey as a performer began when she was selected to join the prestigious Coro de Niños de San Juan (San Juan Children’s Choir). She went on to appear in numerous musical productions produced by CNSJ. Following the passion for singing, Lorna graduated from the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music with a degree in Voice Performance. Her path led her to New York City, where she made her Off-Broadway debut at St. Luke’s Theater. She continues to call New York home.

Since 2021, Lorna has shifted her focus to screen acting and co-runs The Brownstone Class alongside her husband, Adam. Together, they have built an acting workshop dedicated to film and television—a creative hub where actors refine their on-camera technique, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a supportive artistic community.

Most recently, Lorna played Sarah in the indie thriller Flux (Rumdog Productions) and will appear in the upcoming indie film Tax Day (The Brownstone Class). She is currently represented by TalentINK.

proud business owner

At The Brownstone Class, we train actors not through imitation, but through imagination, physical precision, and a deeper pursuit of truth. Founded by Adam Smith Jr., our method blends the legacy of Stella Adler, Michael Chekhov, and Stanislavsky with a modern, camera-focused approach. We reject emotional recall and naturalistic mimicry, favoring embodiment, gesture, and rigorous exploration of text and circumstance. Every actor prepares alone, as they would on set, and learns to adapt with creative resilience. This is a studio for serious actors; those ready to challenge old habits, rethink realism, and become vessels for something greater than themselves.
